The Caymanian Community Party (TCCP) is proud to announce Anthony Ramoon as its official candidate for George Town Central in the upcoming general election.
With a degree in Economics and Finance from Syracuse University, Ramoon brings over 19 years of financial services expertise from his role at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), where he has played a key role in regulating and strengthening Cayman’s financial services sector. His professional background is complemented by a lifelong commitment to community service and cultural advocacy, with deep family roots in George Town Central spanning generations.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ramoon is a former Cayman Islands national football team player and has been actively involved in promoting youth football development. His passion for the sport and dedication to mentoring young athletes highlight his commitment to building stronger, healthier communities.
Ramoon is a strong advocate for the arts and cultural preservation in the Cayman Islands. As a founding member of the artist collective Native Sons and supporter of to the Cayman Islands Cultural Foundation, the National Gallery, and Pirates Week, among others, he has played a key role in promoting Caymanian art and culture.
