Notes to the application form

Set out below are descriptions of the eligibility requirements, the membership application fee and annual dues for membership in TCCP. The terms used in TCCP’s Constitution shall have the same meanings when used herein unless the context otherwise requires.

Every person 16 years of age or older who either (a) possesses Caymanian Status or (b) has been ordinarily resident in the Cayman Islands for at least 5 years or (c) is the spouse of a person eligible to be registered as a voter in the Cayman Islands, shall be eligible for membership in TCCP provided that he/she is not amember of any other political party in the Cayman Islands.
Each applicant shall submit a copy of his/her passport or Voter ID card.
Each applicant shall also submit copies of the other documents which prove that he/she is eligible for membership. Please feel free to discuss with the General Secretary (or his/her delegate) what documents will be acceptable as proof of eligibility.
The membership application fee is CI$[10]. Fees will be collected at a later date.
The annual dues for membership are CI$[25].
Each applicant shall become a member of TCCP upon approval of his/her application and the payment of the first year’s annual dues. Accordingly, as soon as your application has been approved you should pay your first year’s annual dues.
The annual dues for each year other than a member’s first year of membership, shall (unless decided otherwise by the Executive Council) be due on or before February 1st of each year and in any case on or before the date set for a National Conference in any year.
