George Town Central

Raised in George Town Central to believe in putting family, faith and community first, Anthony’s focus is ensuring progress benefits all Caymanians

A native son of George Town, Anthony has represented the Cayman Islands on the football pitch and is now ready to represent the people of George Town Central in Parliament. With nearly two decades experience in financial services, Anthony is running for a better social balance where all Caymanians gain from the benefit of a strong economy.

A graduate in economics and finance from Syracuse University, Anthony’s professional career spans 19 years in regulatory financial services, most recently at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, giving him a deep understanding of the industry and its importance to the country.

As a footballer, Anthony played at the national youth and senior levels for 25 years and remains involved in the sport’s administration, as well as with George Town Sports Club. He values sport as an opportunity to bring people together, break down barriers, open doors of opportunities, and especially young people looking for a positive way to spend their time.

In George Town Central, Anthony was one of the pioneers of Central Scranton Park and remains dedicated to developing it as a family-friendly gathering space for all and the wider country. He is also a keen advocate for arts and cultural preservation, having helped to found the Native Sons arts collective and a continual supporter of  the Cayman Islands Cultural Foundation, the National Gallery and Pirates Week.

A family man with a strong faith, Anthony has chosen to run with The Caymanian Community Party as he shares their values of integrity and accountability, and their vision for a fairer, more inclusive society where no Caymanian is left behind. Respected in the community for his humility and honesty, Anthony believes in always putting the interests of the people first.

Anthony’s priorities for George Town Central and at the national level are job opportunities for Caymanians, more affordable housing and the cost of living which continues to affect so many in the community. He is committed to bringing practical solutions based on collaboration and data-driven decision-making to help people move forward together.
